Overview

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for Truss Division in our rapidly growing manufacturing, distribution and installation operations in Winter Haven, Florida. We provide building materials for the residential building and multi-family markets statewide with locations in Jacksonville, Sanford, Ocala, Melbourne, Winter Haven, Riverview, Fort Myers and Gibsonton.

 

Job Purpose

The Truss Department Admin will be responsible for inputting orders into BisTrack that are scheduled for delivery, organizing pricing sheets for clients, checking customer delivery schedules, and handling any other work overflow requested for the Truss Business Operations Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Truss Specific:

  • Entering lot specific information from the PO’s into Bistrack per our SOPs.
  • Updating all Alpine records with the Sales Order number provided by Bistrack into Alpine.
  • Maintaining and organizing customer pricing.
  • Going to customer websites to maintain delivery calendars.
  • General data entry.

General:

  • Verifying customer information is correct, and /or re-entering data.
  • Review for accuracy and make changes when advised or necessary.
  • Verify correct invoicing price.
  • Support the locations administrative staff in a variety of general office and clerical tasks.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Working conditions

  • Job requires some extended hours, as needed, to accomplish job requirements.
  • Job requires working in manufacturing/warehouse environment which includes high temperatures and humidity.
  • Job requires working in and around machinery/powered equipment and associated safety risks.
  • Job requires interaction with internal and external customers to resolve issues.
  • Job requires interaction with all levels within the location and all their direct reports (as needed).

Physical requirements

  • Job requires lifting and sitting for long periods of time within an office environment.
